Requirements

• Experience as an Automation QA Engineer
• Experience in Automation using Java with Selenium Webdriver
• Experience in creating Automation Frameworks from scratch
• Experience in programming concepts
• Experience with BDD using Cucumber
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude
• Strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Work with Product Owners, QA’s and Developers to understand technical aspects
• Analyse business requirements to design and implement automated test cases
• Create and Execute test cases and analyze results using Selenium Webdriver
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Ensure product quality is maintained throughout the whole software development lifecycle
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Provide feedback to the wider team regarding automation results with particular focus on failures and escalation
• Communicate delays and issues in a timely manner
• Encourage automation throughout the QA team and actively promote the use of automation
• Identify from existing manual test cases, cases to be automated
• Assist with any other product quality related activities
• Participate in the Agile ceremonies associated with the project team that you are working in
