You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, developing strategic plans, and uncovering new business opportunities. Requirements
- Have experience with trends and developments in digital products, its possible effects to Experian Automotive and how to best leverage to win more share of digital media budgets, (e.g. ad tech, data/data onboarding, first party data management, activation, attribution/measurement)
- Have an understanding of the automotive and advertising landscape and industries. Speak to automotive trends, uncover data sets opportunities for clients
- Be a thinker who can have strategic conversations with C-suite and decision makers up and down our organization
- Uncover needs to address client challenges with relevant insights and enterprise level solutions that elevates Experian to preferred partner status
- Manage contacts, activities and revenue tracking in Salesforce.com
- Have a Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, marketing, or a related discipline, though candidates with relevant experience who hold other degrees will be considered
- Have 5-7 years in digital media sales and data sales. Direct experience working with agencies, dealerships and martech organizations
Responsibilities
- Grow existing lines of businesses and uncover new opportunities with new clients
- Be responsible for revenue growth, strategy development, scoping and implementation
- Partner internally with partners, product experts and our consultants to create an integrated business plan and strategy supporting your advertisers
- Grow revenue and exceed sales goals by networking horizontally and vertically within clients to acquire new business/contracts, upselling and renewing existing business
- Develop client relationships in-person, at networking events, conferences and through remote capabilities
- Collaborate and partner across Experian teams to identify and tailor solutions to meet client needs
- Position the benefits of our data, product suite and business model to decision makers at the agencies and platforms, demonstrating how Experian Automotive can help grow their business
- Create business plans for each client that outlines untapped opportunities, new revenue streams and partnerships
Preferred Qualifications
- Have a background in digital marketing, data activation, and insights and the application of data solutions to power go-to-market plans, analytics and attribution
- Be a sales lead who can navigate martech, media planning and buying agencies, and multiple lines of business to reach decision makers
- Have a track record in positioning data products and solutions, using data to guide insights, creating meaningful meeting content and delivering impactful sales pitches to our clients and partners
- Have a background in sales success - achieving and surpassing goals, and managing to a revenue goal
- Be a motivated, curious and creative team player who strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
- Have familiarity with the auto industry and competitive environment
- Have experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
- Be willing to travel
