This remote contract role requires strong AWS cloud networking expertise, particularly in transitioning from Direct Connect to Transit Peering. You will lead projects, provide architectural direction, and collaborate with teams. Requirements

• Possess experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-region architecture
• Demonstrate knowledge of network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Show familiarity with network monitoring and management tools for AWS environments

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic architectural direction on projects
• Transition from AWS Direct Connect to Transit Peering within an AWS environment
• Demonstrate strong expertise in cloud networking, specifically AWS VPCs, subnets, EC2, Lambda, S3, Route 53, and VPC Endpoints
• Exhibit in-depth understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, routing), proxy patterns, and related technologies
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate effectively across teams
• Proactively solve problems and perform root-cause analysis

Preferred Qualifications

Hold AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certification
