Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance at the Public Trust level or above
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and solutions
  • Proficiency in designing and managing cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including VPC, DNS, VPN, and load balancers
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, or Datadog
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure and scalable AWS cloud solutions, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and other AWS services
  • Manage and monitor cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
  • Automate cloud operations and deployments using CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and implement best practices for cloud security, including IAM, VPC configurations, and data encryption
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services
  • Collaborate with DevOps, software engineering, and security teams to align cloud solutions with business needs
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure design, configurations, and processes
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS services, tools, and trends, recommending improvements as appropriate

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and integrations
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA)
