Remote Azure Cloud Architect

Summary

The job involves assisting the Infrastructure section as an Azure Cloud Architect expert to help set up Azure environments for clients. The role includes tasks such as setting up customer-owned environments, creating VNets and VPN gateways, and documenting DevOps environments. The required skills include 5 years of experience in Azure Cloud Architecture, custom imaging and VDI/Hypervisor, Intune and MDM management, V Nets and resource groups, Azure VPN gateways, directory services (Azure AD and AD), cloud computing and management, firewalls, implementing secure best practices, access for confidential data, and strong written and oral communication skills.

Requirements

• 5 Years Demonstrated knowledge of Azure Cloud Architecture, to include Custom Imaging and VDI/Hypervisor
• 5 Years Demonstrated knowledge of In Tune and MDM management
• 5 Years Demonstrated knowledge of V Net and Resource Groups and Azure VPN gateways
• Required 5 Years Demonstrated knowledge of directory services (Azure AD and AD)
• Required 5 Years Demonstrated knowledge of cloud computing and management
• Required 5 Years Require a thorough knowledge of firewalls (access groups, rules, ports and specific pinhole connections)
• Required 5 Years Require a thorough knowledge of implementing secure, best practices, access for the confidential data and availability between all infrastructures
• Required 5 Years Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist Infrastructure with setting up Azure environments to benefit clients
• Help design and implement groups, virtual machines, databases, firewall rules, and VPN tunnels from an operations and security standpoint for the Permit Transformation Project
• Setup customer-owned environments, create images, VNets and VPN gateways, and create VDI machines based on custom images
• Set up Intune for management of VDI machines and assign to resources and resource groups in high, medium and low zones
• Document DevOps environment and setup proper rights
