Remote Azure Cloud Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Azure Cloud Engineer and contribute to the growth of our Consulting Services team. As a key member, you will install, configure, automate, and monitor various cloud services, implement defined architecture, develop documentation, and troubleshoot builds. With experience in Azure IaaS and PaaS, knowledge of key Azure concepts, and essential skills in Azure administration, cloud security, and infrastructure as code, you will be part of our Hitachi family and enjoy a comprehensive career development programme.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Azure IaaS and PaaS
• 2+ years of experience in Azure IaC
• Knowledge of key Azure concepts and principles
• Experience in participating client-facing workshops

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, automate, and monitor various cloud services, Infrastructure as a Service and Platform (IaaS and PaaS)
• Implementing defined Architecture (including Azure Landing Zone) through IaC
• Develop and produce Azure based documentation, including best practice design recommendations for migrations of applications and infrastructure from on-premise to Azure
• Set up and troubleshoot Azure builds, including but not limited to ARM, SQL, Containers and Azure AD
• Be a role model by being hands-on and a trusted leader for the rest of the team
• Follow good methodology & development practices & principles
• Keep yourself up to date with new cloud technologies and features
