Summary

Join T-Rex Solutions as an Azure DevSecOps Engineer to contribute to the US Department of the Treasury's TCloud enterprise cloud development. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure Cloud solutions, ensuring secure and resilient environments. This remote position requires implementing best practices, automating processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure, including IaC, CI/CD, and security best practices. A background in Agile methodologies and experience with various cloud tools is also essential. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelors degree and seven (7) years or more of related experience or Masters and three (3) or more years of related experience
  • Experience of resource administration and troubleshooting in Azure environment
  • Experience building and managing Azure landing zones for enterprise cloud migrations
  • Experience utilizing Azure Bicep and ARM templates to deploy infrastructure
  • Proven background working in Azure cloud environments with experience and knowledge in multiple of the following areas
  • Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
  • Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
  • CI/CD tools (ADO, Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
  • Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
  • Cyber tools - Orca, Splunk, Amulous, STIG scanner
  • Terraform, Ansible
  • Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
  • Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of the AzureI cloud environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and SRE principles
  • Maintain ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts
  • Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all Azure deployments
  • Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to assist with the implementation of cloud architecture best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure Cloud certifications desired
  • Active Treasury clearance preferred
