Azure Consultant

Summary

Join Planet Technologies, a leading Microsoft services provider, as an Azure Consultant and contribute to impactful public sector projects. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of customer implementation projects, from scoping and planning to delivery and documentation. Leveraging your expertise in Azure, O365, and Entra ID, you will guide customers and colleagues. Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of experience
• Have professional with excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical deployment project by providing oversight of involved technologies, risks and dependencies
• Map technical requirements into actionable steps to deploy and hand over technical solutions
• Design and configure all facets of an Azure environment or Microsoft Tenant
• Plan and execute end-to-end implementation and supports applicable migrations/deployments of target workloads
• Maintain above average understanding of existing and emerging Microsoft technologies
• Be a liaison between the technology and customer requirements and communicate accordingly to achieve desired outcomes
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
• Create process, documentation and set standards in several practice areas
• Demonstrate the skills to be the technical Lead and support customer projects
• Implement related technologies and understand their direct dependencies
• Navigate new or unknown technical areas and quickly get up to speed to support customer requirements
• Proactively respond to internal/external questions and collaborate across internal/external teams
• Solve problems efficiently in complex environments and suggest process improvement or standardization as requested and/or needed
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to help customers make critical decisions around features and capabilities and referring additional products or services within the specific areas of technical competence if needed and/or required for the customer
• Possess the experience and knowledge of when to effectively articulate escalations and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Demonstrate ownership stake in the successful technical delivery of customer projects

• Possess Certifications for Azure
• Possess Certifications for O365
• Possess Secret Clearance
• Have Governance experience
• Have Multi-cloud or multi-tenancy experience
• Have Microsoft Security technology stack experience and deep knowledge

• Salaries for Consultants at Planet Technologies range from $120,000 and $210,000
