Summary

Velotio Technologies is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join their innovative team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, and automation, with expertise in managing, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services. They will be responsible for architecting Public / hybrid cloud solutions with Azure, administering Azure Databases, deploying and managing containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Apps, implementing and managing Azure API Management, and more.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform (like Virtual Networks, Compute, Security, Firewalls, Cache, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, Storage etc)
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Application Security Groups (ASGs)
• Proficiency in Azure Firewall to design, implement and manage robust security solutions within Azure environments
• Strong understanding of Service Endpoints and Private Endpoints to enhance the security and performance of Azure services
• Experience with Azure Application Gateway configuration and management

Responsibilities

• Architect Public / hybrid cloud solutions with Azure
• Administer Azure Databases (such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB) to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Apps
• Implement and manage Azure API Management to streamline API deployment, security, and monitoring
• Deploy and manage applications using Azure App Service and Azure Functions for serverless computing
• Understand Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Bicep
• Implement and manage Azure Automation, Functions and Logic-Apps for automation techniques and architectures
• Implement and manage Azure Policy and governance frameworks to ensure compliance and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus
