Summary

Anatta is a unique eCommerce solutions provider seeking a Backend Application Developer with Shopify experience. The candidate should have excellent programming skills, 4+ years of experience as a Backend Application Developer on web applications, and a degree or certification in software development. As a member of the engineering team, the developer will participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging, collaborate with Front-end developers, gather and address technical requirements, build reusable code, follow emerging technologies, troubleshoot and debug applications, and more. Requirements

• 4+ years as a Backend Application Developer on web applications
• Education: Degree or certification in software development
• Communication: Fluent writing and speaking in English
• Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Follow emerging technologies
• Troubleshoot and debug applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript/Node JS
• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
• Excellent understanding of API (Rest, GraphQL)
• Good understanding of Shopify Plus
• Good understanding of Public and Custom Shopify Apps
• Good understanding of SQL DB
• Good understanding of GIT
• Good Understanding of the backend server
• Good documentation skills
• Bonus to have a strong background in web-based eCommerce applications
• Bonus on having experience in other programming languages, such as Python/Ruby/PHP
