Backend Developer (API & Integration Focus)

Summary

Join our team as a Backend Developer and contribute to the development of our platform's backend services, with a strong emphasis on integration with ERP systems like Oracle Fusion Cloud. You will be responsible for designing APIs, architecting databases, ensuring security, and supporting frontend operations. This role involves building and maintaining RESTful APIs to synchronize data with Oracle Fusion Cloud or similar ERPs, designing and implementing scalable and secure backend services, working with AWS Aurora (PostgreSQL) for data management, implementing and maintaining multi-factor authentication, encryption, and secure API access mechanisms, ensuring audit trails, version control, and logging systems are integrated, and designing backend components for future scalability and feature expansion.

Requirements

• Node.js, Express
• PostgreSQL (preferably AWS Aurora)
• RESTful API design and integration
• OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, MFA handling
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• ERP integration experience (e.g., Oracle Fusion)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs to sync data (POs, SRNs, financial transactions) with Oracle Fusion Cloud or similar ERPs
• Design and implement scalable, secure backend services to support frontend workflows
• Work with AWS Aurora (PostgreSQL) or equivalent for relational data management
• Implement and maintain MFA , encryption , and secure API access mechanisms
• Ensure audit trails, version control, and logging systems are integrated
• Design backend components for future scalability (horizontal/vertical) and feature expansion (e.g., ML integration)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong knowledge of REST API development and system integration
• Experience with relational databases and schema design
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion or similar enterprise systems
