Backend developer

Summary

The job is for a Backend Developer in a growing healthcare CRM company that offers remote work and opportunities for professional growth. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new modules of the platform, solving real-scale business needs, taking ownership of projects, proposing new architectural solutions, and more.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in web application development with high traffic
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (design patterns, refactoring patterns, unit testing, clean code) and object-oriented programming skills
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Experience with Git and version control systems
• Experience in designing REST API (in any language) and familiarity with caching and performance issues
• Experience in writing automated tests and embracing the TDD philosophy
• Fluency in Italian (native level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PHP and MySQL
• Experience with ELK stack
• Experience with serverless architecture
• Familiarity with AWS tools: queue, lambda functions, S3
• Ability to work on legacy software for refactoring purposes
• Experience in managing a Job Queue Manager
• Familiarity with integrating AI into web systems
• Experience in building ChatBot and VoiceBot
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Ability to think in terms of MVP and incremental releases, with a vision for the entire architecture rather than individual projects
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
