Summary

Join Docebo, a fast-growing SaaS company, as a Backend Developer responsible for producing high-quality code following an Agile methodology. Develop Community features of the Learning Platform using GoLang, OOP, GraphQL API, and PostgreSQL. Remote or hybrid position (Europe) reporting to Software Development Manager.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • 3+ years of experience and a deep understanding of web applications
  • Knowledge of handwritten GoLang. and Object Oriented Patterns
  • Experience with PostgreSQL. and strong knowledge of optimization methods
  • Experience developing REST APIs and GraphQL API
  • Interest in new technologies: Docker, AWS, Enterprise Level Applications
  • Strong attention to detail and astute diagnostic skills
  • Ability to look at your development within a product use case and measure quality upon it
  • Ability to properly document your code in English and make it reusable to other teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop Community features of the Learning Platform, using GoLang, OOP, GraphQL API, and PostgreSQL
  • Meet challenging deadlines in biweekly sprints
  • Follow project development and manage tasks related to the project's implementation
  • Develop code with a focus on quality, working closely with QA and with a TDD approach
  • Work in an Agile, Scrum international team with other backend and frontend developers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Cloud or SaaS development environment
  • General knowledge of HTML5, SASS, React or any FE framework
  • Working understanding of industry-leading IT automation and cloud tooling, including but not limited to JIRA, Docker, Git/Stash, Test Automation (Selenium), AWS, Enterprise Level Applications, Services, and more
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
