Backend Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Backend Engineer at Elevar (now part of Buxton), a SaaS company specializing in online analytics. The role involves working remotely with Typescript, React, Node, and Python to enhance the product and contribute to the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Experience with Node and Python
• Experience with a strongly typed language (TypeScript is a plus)
• Ability to work in a unix environment
• Understanding of serverless technologies

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with a fully remote team to enhance our product
• Contributing with the team and product manager to shape the product roadmap
• Pushing code changes as pull requests and participating in review, testing, and deployments

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with high-throughput systems and/or data pipelines
• Experience with data engineering (Batch vs streaming processors, BigQuery, etc)
