Backend Engineer

Summary

Join Reddit's Ads Measurement Core team as a Backend Engineer to build the next generation of attribution/identity products for advertisers. Design and develop scalable server-side components, implement data pipelines, create algorithms, and build robust tracking systems.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, computer science)
• 3+ years of software engineering experience in a highly scalable computing environment
• Experience in backend engineering, with a passion for learning and adapting to new technologies that you lacked prior experience with
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders independently

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable server-side components and APIs to support SAN (self-attributing network) ad delivery and attribution
• Implement data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of ad interaction and conversion data
• Create algorithms for real-time ad matching and attribution based on user identifiers and engagement data
• Build robust tracking systems to capture ad impressions, clicks, installs, and other conversion events
• Develop integrations with major mobile measurement partners (MMPs) and attribution providers
