Summary
Join Localyze's dynamic team as a Fullstack Engineer and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our SaaS B2B product. You will design and implement scalable, reusable frontend and backend components, collaborate with various teams, and drive automation and AI integration to enhance efficiency. This role requires 4+ years of coding experience, including at least 3 years with Ruby on Rails, and proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks. You will champion best practices, improve application integrity, and foster cross-functional collaboration. Requirements
- Have 4 + years of coding experience , with at least 3 years of Ruby on Rails experience
- Have knowledge of TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, and React Query
- Have experience in designing, developing, and documenting REST APIs and implementing automated testing (especially unit tests)
- Have experience in developing and maintaining design systems , ensuring consistency and high-quality standards across the company’s products
- Have a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Are fluent in English , both written and spoken, to succeed in our remote, partly asynchronous work environment
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, reusable frontend and backend solutions that align with our product roadmap
- Identify opportunities for automation and AI integration to streamline operations and improve user experience
- Lead by example in encouraging and implementing engineering best practices across the team
- Improve maintainability, security, and performance while reducing technical debt and ensuring dependencies are up to date
- Work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to drive innovation and ensure seamless execution of projects
- Engage with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and customer success, to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into the product development process
Preferred Qualifications
- Have SQL knowledge (a plus)
- Have a strong interest in automation and AI , with some professional experience being a plus
