Summary

The job description is for a Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Forta who will implement behavior intervention plans for clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) under the supervision of a BCBA. Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances as required by state regulations

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as outlined by the BCBA to address the unique needs of each client
  • Provide one-on-one direct therapy sessions with clients in home
  • Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior using specified data collection methods
  • Assist in the development of skill acquisition programs to target communication, social, academic, and daily living skills
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with clients, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA)

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
