Summary

As a Behavior Technician at Forta, you will implement behavior intervention plans for children with autism spectrum disorder under the supervision of a BCBA, conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, collect data on client progress, assist in skill acquisition programs, and participate in regular team meetings. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred. Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred
  • No prior experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is necessary
  • Passion for working with children and an enthusiasm for learning how to best serve neurodiverse families
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances as required by state regulations

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as outlined by the BCBA
  • Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients in their homes
  • Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behavior
  • Assist in the development of skill acquisition programs targeting communication, social, academic, and daily living skills
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills in ABA
