Join ZipRecruiter as a Benefits Analyst, Leaves and Accommodations, supporting the administration of leave of absence, workplace accommodations, and employee benefits programs across the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Israel. You will support process administration, identify operational improvements, and ensure a consistent and compliant employee experience. Collaborate with the People Business Partner team and other stakeholders, providing direct guidance to employees. Support domestic and global health and welfare benefits, including annual renewals, Open Enrollment, and wellness initiatives. Respond to employee inquiries and support day-to-day benefits administration. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, is team-oriented, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is self-motivated.
Requirements
- Must live in Phoenix, Arizona or Los Angeles, California
- 2-3 years of experience in leave of absence and/or benefits administration
- Advanced proficiency in ADP WorkforceNow (or comparable HRIS/Benefits system), Google Workspace, and Excel
- Previous knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws
- Demonstrates outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and technical ability
- Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee the global leave of absence and accommodations program in partnership with the companyβs third-party leave administrator
- Provide leave of absence and accommodations expertise to employees and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with Payroll to support the processing of leave-related wage payments and provide related reporting as needed
- Assist in administrating the domestic and global employee benefit programs by supporting employees, the Benefits Team, and other internal stakeholders
- Partner with Accounting and Payroll as needed to provide information to assist with journal entries and other backend items
- Partner with the Benefits Team and US & global brokers for benefits renewal and full-cycle US Open Enrollment process
- Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in ADP WorkforceNow to provide vendors with correct eligibility information
- Frequently draft and refine various benefit communications and collateral; ensure legally required communications are up-to-date and distributed appropriately
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes
- Develop and implement employee wellness initiatives as a core member of the Wellness Committee
