Summary

Join Samsara as an International Benefits Analyst and support our international HR team in administering, analyzing, and ensuring compliance of employee benefits programs across multiple countries. This remote UK-based role requires a solid understanding of global benefits trends and legislative requirements. You will assist in the day-to-day administration of international benefit programs, including health, life insurance, disability, pension, and leave of absence. Responsibilities include processing enrollments and changes, coordinating with local HR teams and vendors, ensuring compliance with local laws, and conducting analysis and strategy for benefit programs. You will also support communication and employee support, collaborating with various teams to ensure operational efficiency and utilizing Workday for administration and reporting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Prior experience in benefits administration with exposure to international benefits
  • Understanding of benefits principles and practices
  • Familiarity with basic laws and regulations impacting employee benefits
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Workday
  • Customer-centric mindset

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day administration of international benefit programs, including health, life insurance, disability, pension, and leave of absence across various countries and regions
  • Process enrollments, changes, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Support the coordination with local HR teams, external brokers, and vendors
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships, including invoice reconciliation
  • Assist in ensuring international benefit programs comply with local laws and regulations
  • Help maintain required compliance reporting and documentation
  • Support internal and external audits related to benefits programs
  • Work with external vendors to support immigration processes for sponsored employees
  • Assist in the execution of global mobility and immigration programs
  • Assist in updating policies
  • Assist in benchmarking and cost-benefit analyses of international benefits programs
  • Help analyze benefits utilization data
  • Support the implementation of new or existing benefits programs
  • Assist in maintaining metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of benefit programs
  • Assist in developing and delivering communication materials for international employees regarding their benefits
  • Help address benefits inquiries from employees and local HR partners
  • Assist in creating and maintaining employee resource materials
  • Support annual renewals across different countries
  • Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Finance, Legal, and regional HR teams to ensure data flow and operational efficiency
  • Utilize Workday for administration and reporting
  • Participate in special projects related to global benefits as needed
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new office

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with benefits brokers and vendors is a plus
