Bi Developer And Data Analyst

Summary

Join First Media, a leading social media company, as a BI Developer & Data Analyst. You will be a key member of the Business Intelligence department, creating reports, dashboards, and data pipelines to support Performance Marketing and other divisions. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in data visualization tools (Looker is mandatory), and programming languages (Python, SQL). While this position can be remote anywhere in the US, the candidate must be available for Pacific Time meetings. Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Applied Math, Analytics)
• Have 2+ years in analytics or a related role, preferably in performance or growth-driven industries
• Be proficient in programming languages (Python, SQL)
• Have experience with data visualization and management tools (Looker is mandatory)
• Demonstrate a strong ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to address business challenges
• Demonstrate an understanding of business needs and ability to translate data insights into impactful recommendations
• Possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to convey insights to diverse audiences
• Have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in time-sensitive environments
• Demonstrate a careful and thorough approach to analysis, organization, and execution

Responsibilities

• Keep our reports and dashboards up-to-date, tracking key metrics and insights to help guide important decisions in direct marketing
• Create and set up efficient back-end data processes and pipelines that make it easier for dashboards and other team members to access the information they need
• Use your analytical skills and business knowledge to offer helpful suggestions on ad performance, addressing key business questions and identifying promising opportunities
• Team up with colleagues from different departments to identify and shape strategic decisions through thorough research, analytics, and valuable insights
• Share findings and recommendations with senior management in a clear, engaging, and impactful way
• Focus on developing business processes and improving your analytics skills to create even better solutions and approaches
