Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a bilingual Medical VA
• Proficient in Spanish and English
• Proficiency in medical software and EMR/EHR systems, cClinicalWorks preferred
• Experience in behavioral healthcare
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communications skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic or video-based intake, gather relevant patient information, and identify immediate needs or concerns
• Coordinate and manage patient appointments, following established guidelines
• Maintain accurate records in EMR/EHR
• Direct patients to appropriate remote services or support groups
• Address concerns with empathy and professionalism, contributing to a positive patient experience
