Requirements

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills
  • 2+ years customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage high call volumes
  • Proficient with patient management systems and electronic medical records
  • Amenable to working in a flexible environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional patient service and addressing inquiries
  • Assist patients with scheduling, prior authorization, insurance verification and explaining medical procedures in both Spanish and English
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient experience
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits to help patients understand coverage options
  • Resolve complaints and inquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
  • Document interactions and update patient records in the system accurately

Preferred Qualifications
