Join Control Risks as a BIM/CAD Security Design Engineer in EMEA, leading the team in producing high-quality security designs and managing technical training programs.

Requirements

• An HNC (Higher National Diploma) or HND (Higher National Certificate) in a subject related to construction, such as civil engineering
• Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with 5+ years experience in an architecture or MEP engineering practice
• Extensive knowledge of quality and document management processes
• Experience of clash detection/resolution process using both Navisworks and Revit
• Familiar with BIM, use of Common Data Environments and QA systems
• Knowledge of Cobie Data applicable to MEP/ security drawings
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Excellent IT skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Control Risks BIM execution plan and associated CAD standards
• Design, develop and deliver a programme of technical training to the team
• Manage, allocated and oversee tasks allocated to the team
• Be responsible for the quality assurance and quality control of technical drawings and models in Revit and AutoCad developed by the team
• Attend virtual project BIM coordination meetings for projects across EMEA and be able to communicate clearly and confidently to resolve technical issues
• Use ‘out of the box’ thinking to add value to security designs
• Innovate to find more efficient and better ways to produce security designs
