Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming language and preferably have 1 year of hands-on experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C++, or Java)
• Possess coursework or projects in machine learning (e.g., through university, bootcamps, online courses, hackathons), including familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Have hands-on experience (academic or personal projects) with smart contract development, ideally using Solidity, Vyper, or Rust (for Solana)
• Show familiarity with tools and libraries such as Hardhat, Truffle, Web3.js, or Ethers.js (even if only in a personal project setting)
• Exhibit the ability to debug, optimize, and brainstorm solutions in a collaborative environment
• Show a genuine interest in the intersection of blockchain, Web3, and AI. Evidence of side projects, GitHub contributions, or hackathon participation is a big plus
• Possess the ability to explain complex technical concepts to peers and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and deploying basic smart contracts on platforms like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Solana
• Collaborate with senior developers to integrate blockchain solutions into existing applications
• Work on integrating AI/ML models within blockchain frameworks or Web3 applications
• Participate in building and maintaining AI agents that interact with decentralized applications (dApps)
• Contribute to model experimentation, data preprocessing, and performance evaluation
• Write and test code to interface with blockchain networks using tools such as Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar libraries
• Develop basic decentralized applications (dApps) and continuously learn about new or improved Web3 technologies and protocols
• Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams (design, product, QA) to deliver robust solutions
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and follow best practices for security and performance
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in blockchain, Web3, and AI
• Engage in research and prototyping to help shape future project roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess basic knowledge of smart contract security best practices (reentrancy, overflow/underflow, etc.)
• Have prior experience using decentralized data storage (e.g., IPFS)
• Demonstrate understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, or related blockchain sub-domains
• Have experience with containerization (Docker) or version control (Git/GitHub)
• Show enthusiasm for exploring AI-based on-chain governance, zero-knowledge proofs, or layer 2 solutions (Polygon, Optimism)
