Remote AI Developer Relations Engineer

Join Sahara Labs as an AI Developer Relations professional to be the bridge between our products and the AI developer community. As the AI Developer Relations expert, you will engage with AI model developers and app builders, ensuring they understand, adopt, and advocate for Sahara AI's platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, data science, or machine learning
• Strong network and social presence (e.g. Twitter, YouTube, forums) within the AI community is a must-have
• Hands-on experience in AI/ML, including a strong understanding of AI model training or AI application/agent development
• Strong network within the AI community and connection with influencers
• Experience in Developer Relations (DevRel), or a similar role, with a proven ability to engage and grow technical communities
• Experience organizing events and engaging developers online and offline
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to design initiatives, strategies, and events with a focus on community engagement and growth without constant supervision

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical evangelist for Sahara AI platforms
• Attend and speak at AI and developer conferences, meetups, and events, both online and offline
• Oversee the entire developer journey by driving awareness with engaging content, guiding onboarding through workshops and personalized support, and boosting retention with rewards and advanced tools
• Create and maintain technical content such as blog posts, webinars, sample projects, and tutorials to educate and engage developers
• Cultivate relationships with AI developers and communities. Be active in online forums, social media, Discord channels, and other developer spaces to answer questions and promote Sahara AI
• Engage developers with technical demos, sample code, and educational content that demonstrates the value of our platform
• Gather insights from the developer community and work with product teams to turn feedback into actionable improvements for our platforms
• Attend AI houses, developer events, and crypto houses to represent Sahara AI, establish a presence, and engage directly with potential users
• Establish relationships with key influencers, thought leaders, and strategic partners within the AI community to drive platform adoption
• Track and report on the growth and engagement of the developer community, using data to inform strategies and demonstrate success

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an AI DevRel role or similar
• Deep participation in major open-source AI project communities (e.g., LangChain, Ollama, SD-webUI, ComfyUI, or similar)
• PhD or advanced degree in AI/ML, Data Science, or related fields
• Familiarity with developer communities in Decentralized AI or related technologies
