Requirements

  • Experience in remote work environments with proficiency in bookkeeping, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Stripe, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective internal and external communication
  • Collaborative team player with a professional demeanor and ability to interact with staff and external contacts
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Manage invoicing processes and ensure accuracy in billing
  • Handle both internal and external email communications efficiently
  • Perform data entry and manage records to maintain operational organization
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) Clean-Up: Help review and reconcile outstanding accounts, identify discrepancies, and assist in clearing up overdue or uncollected invoices. Work with the team to ensure a more accurate and up-to-date AR system
  • Streamlining Invoicing Processes: Contribute to evaluating and improving the current invoicing procedures. Help identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and discrepancies in the invoicing system, particularly with the integration of Stripe. Assist in identifying and resolving data mismatches between systems, and work to adjust processes to prevent ongoing issues. Ensure the invoicing process is seamless, timely, and error-free moving forward
  • Execute other operational tasks as assigned to support business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial operations within a SaaS or tech environment
  • Familiarity with automation tools for bookkeeping and invoicing
  • Previous experience working in a fully remote, fast-growing startup
