Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a BPM Analyst or Scrum Master role, with a strong focus on requirements gathering, user story creation, and wireframe development
• Solid experience working with Appian BPM and ICR/OCR tools for document processing and automation
• Strong understanding JIRA and of Agile methodologies and practical experience as a Scrum Master
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business SMEs and technical teams
• Proficient in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Axure, Figma, or similar)
• Experience in creating and managing artifacts such as user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document complex business processes and workflows
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the requirements gathering process by working directly with business SMEs to understand their needs and document them effectively
• Develop wireframes and prototypes to visually represent business requirements and user interfaces
• Act as the Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews to ensure smooth team collaboration and project progress
• Create and maintain user stories and ensure they are well-defined, understood, and prioritized by the development team
• Serve as the custodian of project artifacts, including user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation, and other project-related materials
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions, particularly leveraging Appian and ICR/OCR tools for document processing
• Ensure alignment between business needs and technical execution by liaising between the business and technical teams
• Maintain a strong understanding of Appian BPM capabilities, including Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and provide guidance on leveraging these tools to meet business requirements
• Support testing and quality assurance efforts by ensuring that user stories are testable, and by validating that developed solutions meet the defined acceptance criteria
• Continuously improve the Agile process to enhance the team’s efficiency and delivery
• Provide support and training to stakeholders on BPM best practices, Appian tools, and ICR/OCR capabilities
