Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of graphic design experience working within a B2B, high-growth environment
  • A portfolio (or presentation) that showcases immense creativity, storytelling, attention to detail, and a strong sense of aesthetics amongst brand design projects
  • Strong competency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and creative Ai. tools, all while keeping the pulse on evolving software and tools in the field
  • Excellent time-management, communication, and project-management skills using task-management software such as Asana (or Jira, Monday, etc)
  • Prior experience working across Marketing channels that have unique design requirements such as print-design, web-design, paid campaigns, affiliate, organic, events, influencer marketing, video management, with expertise in co-branding initiatives with partners
  • Designing web-assets to account for accessibility, ensuring reporting and legalities are thoughtfully considered across WCAG, ADA and AODA
  • Knowledgeable when working with web developers ensuring best practices across desktop, mobile, and UX/UI web-performance
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present and get buy-in at all levels of the organization, and manage a high-growth agile environment
  • The ability to source, hire and retain top freelance, agency or consulting creative talent as needed

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring Creative Excellence: Build a Flex brand that is five-star, consistent across visual channels, and thoughtful, to ensure high-performing creative results with a focus on brand-building, revenue and brand-awareness
  • Hands-on Creation: Manage creative work hands-on, as a tactical and strategic designer, working across creative software tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Midjourney, and other evolving tools within the Ai. landscape
  • Customer Driven Logic: Develop and continuously design the Flex brand to appeal to the correct audience, across all channels, speaking to the correct segments of the market with a strong understanding of the Flex ICP
  • Collaboration at Scale: Operate as a creative subject matter expert to lead creative conversations at all levels of the business, and project-manage creative execution with freelance and agency creative teams when needed
  • Cross-Functional Consistency: Alignment with Product Design organization to ensure overall brand consistency, collaboration, and participation in cross-functional critiques
  • Print Creative Production: Carefully own and optimize creative assets when working with printing houses, credit card manufacturers, packaging firms, and event production companies
  • Goal-Setting: Project manage brand and creative projects cross-functionally to deliver on budget, timeline, and goals

Preferred Qualifications

Interest in working on video-production such as sourcing talent, production-days, event crews, with on-the-fly problem solving and carefully crafted run-of-show management
