Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experienced in employee benefits and broker relations, with established broker connections in key states in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast
- Knowledgeable about the health insurance market, health insurance products, and ICHRA regulations
- A high-energy, entrepreneurial professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- Existing relationships with brokers in the healthcare industry and a deep understanding of their needs and motivations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Self-driven and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to facilitate change management within the broker channel and companies
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify and resolve sales challenges
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
- Currently licensed as a health insurance broker/producer, or have the ability to become licensed (Company will facilitate.)
Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with brokers, serving as their trusted ICHRA advisor and ensuring Venteur remains their go-to solution
- Manage a multi-state sales territory, understanding the nuances of each market, including carrier products and regional variations
- Provide expert consultation on ICHRA funding strategies, including compliance with ACA affordability requirements
- Confidently review and present ICHRA analyses, guiding brokers through complex contribution strategies
- Conduct system demos to showcase Venteurβs innovative platform
- Stay up to date on ICHRA trends and market developments within your territory
- Collaborate cross-functionally with account management and product teams to drive growth and success
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for broker channel development, new business opportunities, and group enrollments
