Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experienced in employee benefits and broker relations, with established broker connections in key states in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast
  • Knowledgeable about the health insurance market, health insurance products, and ICHRA regulations
  • A high-energy, entrepreneurial professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
  • Existing relationships with brokers in the healthcare industry and a deep understanding of their needs and motivations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to facilitate change management within the broker channel and companies
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify and resolve sales challenges
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
  • Currently licensed as a health insurance broker/producer, or have the ability to become licensed (Company will facilitate.)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with brokers, serving as their trusted ICHRA advisor and ensuring Venteur remains their go-to solution
  • Manage a multi-state sales territory, understanding the nuances of each market, including carrier products and regional variations
  • Provide expert consultation on ICHRA funding strategies, including compliance with ACA affordability requirements
  • Confidently review and present ICHRA analyses, guiding brokers through complex contribution strategies
  • Conduct system demos to showcase Venteur’s innovative platform
  • Stay up to date on ICHRA trends and market developments within your territory
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with account management and product teams to drive growth and success
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for broker channel development, new business opportunities, and group enrollments
