Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including testing, documenting and gathering requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an eye for identifying patterns in data and client feedback
  • Ability to adopt complex software solutions and analyze detailed system business rules
  • Excellent relationship-building and client communication skills
  • Experience providing customer support including staging client issues and managing client interactions
  • A track record of delivering on your commitments with an analytical, organized, and detail-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and French (mandatory)
  • Ability to work independently, gather and synthesize information, and propose alternative solutions
  • Experience using MS Office Suite, including Visio
  • Experience in JIRA with issue tracking, and business process analysis

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on the APEXA software platform
  • Serve as the primary resource for Tier II client inquiries with an emphasis on French client support
  • Stage and replicate client issues to identify root causes, assess impact, and develop workarounds where necessary
  • Collaborate with developers, IT Operations, and business stakeholders to analyze, resolve and optimize processes
  • Build strong, trusting relationships through clear communication with clients and internal teams
  • Generate detailed performance reports, identifying trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement
  • Monitor and evaluate SLA adherence, system performance, and service efficiency
  • Translate technical documents, slide decks, release notes, and other materials into French
  • Develop clear and concise user stories, wireframes, process documents, system documentation, and training materials as needed
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and planning
  • Conduct functional and system testing to validate new features and fixes when required
  • Collaborate with external vendors to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes
  • Provide on-call support for emergency outages when required
  • Successfully manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with APIs and data mapping (an asset)
  • Experience in the Life Insurance Industry (an asset)
