Summary
Join Airship as a Salesforce Business Analyst and serve as a liaison between Go-to-Market (GTM) departments and the Information Systems (IS) team. Analyze sales processes, identify business needs, and translate them into technical requirements for IS solutions. Optimize GTM operations through technology, improve data quality, and enhance reporting capabilities. Collaborate with stakeholders, document requirements, and conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement. Work with the IS team to design and recommend technical solutions, participate in evaluating new SaaS technologies, and support system configuration and deployment. Ensure data integrity, develop reports and analytics, and deliver training materials. Continuously seek process optimization opportunities and stay updated on industry best practices.
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on Salesforce/Hubspot, or related CRM business functions
- Demonstrated experience working within an Information Systems or IT department
- Strong understanding of sales and GTM processes and methodologies (ABX ideal)
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ, HubSpot) is highly desirable
- Experience with reporting tools and data analysis (Tableau, Doumo, Looker)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business needs to technical teams
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Go-to-Market (GTM) stakeholders to understand their current processes, pain points, and future needs
- Elicit, document, and prioritize detailed business requirements for new or enhanced sales-related systems and applications (e.g., CRM, sales enablement tools, reporting platforms)
- Conduct in-depth analysis of data mapping, SasS software trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and system enhancements
- Develop use cases, user stories, process flows, and other documentation to clearly articulate requirements to the Information Systems team
- Work closely with IS team members, business team stakeholders, and project managers to design and recommend technical solutions that align with the GTM business objectives and IS architectural standards
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new SaaS technologies and vendors
- Support the configuration, testing, and deployment of GTM-related systems, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and are user-friendly
- Act as a subject matter expert for information systems during all phases of the project lifecycle
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of Salesforce data within various systems
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide actionable insights to the leadership team
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end users on new systems and functionalities
- Continuously seek opportunities to optimize processes through technology and automation
- Propose and implement solutions that streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall CRM experience
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in GTM operations and business analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or project management (e.g., PMP, CSM)
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Experience with sales compensation systems or sales forecasting tools
- Knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages
- Experience with Zoominfo, 6sense, Marketo, Sales Navigator, etc

- The starting base pay range for this position is: $80,000 - $85,000 USD per year
- Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, or other performance incentives
