Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in business analysis
• Proven experience with analysis and automation languages, practices and toolsets
• Understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle
• Technical knowledge of programming, system design, IT infrastructure and database concepts
• An appreciation of both IT and business strategy
• Developing knowledge of business process re-engineering
• Ability to assimilate business context and priorities effectively so as to build subject matter expertise
• Assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
• Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders and team members within own area of expertise
• Sound technical ability, with the skills to pick up proficiency in new systems and technology quickly
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile frameworks

Responsibilities

• Collect and compile metrics and data creating reporting and completing analysis
• Meet with user groups and other stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements
• Analyse data, workflows, or metrics to make recommendations of potential improvement
• Present findings and recommendations to business as required
• Develop artefacts such as functional specifications and user stories that define and document the desired outcome focusing on the what and the why
• Coordinate testing to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality and user friendliness of system enhancement/development
• Ensure knowledge artefacts are appropriately completed
• Assist and collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to achieve shared goals
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives)
