Summary
Join Fearless Digital as a Business Analyst and provide technical and tactical support to agile teams, ensuring high-quality work delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders, coordinate with project team members, and execute various tasks, including defining acceptance criteria, performing testing, creating training materials, and documenting processes. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in project management and specific software tools. Requirements
- Ability to acquire a public trust clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to facilitate meetings and workshops
- Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced or ambiguous environments
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working exclusively as a Business Analyst
- Work experience with Power BI for development
- Work experience with Jira
- Work experience with Microsoft Sharepoint
- Work experience with AzureDevOps
- At least 2 years of work experience with project management
- At least 1 to 2 years of work experience as a scrum master
- Demonstrated experience of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making
- Demonstrated experience with writing epics, features, and user stories
- Demonstrated experience defining acceptance criteria, tests, ready, and done on behalf of the Product Owner and answering clarifying questions on requirements
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence (preferred) or other agile workflow management tools
- Demonstrated experience performing acceptance testing on behalf of the Product Owner
- Ability to examine user issues and translate them into user stories
- Ability to operate and manage work, strategically reason, build relationships, and influence others
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with others to influence stakeholders and grow buy-in of business projects
- Coordinates with project team members and other teams to produce better business outcomes
- Executes epics, features, and user stories, defining acceptance criteria and tests on behalf of the Product Owner and answering clarifying questions on any requirements
- Performs acceptance testing on behalf of the Product Owner
- Produces training materials and user guides and trains end users
- Facilitates meetings and workshops
- Examines user issues and translates them into user stories
- Documents business processes, system flows, and data flows; analyzes processes; and recommends improvements
- Constructs workflow diagrams
- Documents issues/risks
- Supports the Product Owner and Scrum Master as needed
- Assists in operational rollout and support
- Collects and analyzes data for potential business expansion
- Identifies specific business opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- An active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- An active Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
- Current or previous work experience with a government agency or government contractor
