Summary
Join Appfire, a remote-first company, as a Senior Business Analyst, SaaS Pricing. You will play a key role in shaping pricing strategies, streamlining marketplace strategies, and improving business processes. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Alliances, you will collaborate with various teams to achieve business objectives. This position offers flexible work arrangements, including remote options from Eastern or Central time zones, with a preference for Austin, TX or Atlanta, GA. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis within a SaaS or software environment
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies
- Familiarity with managing and optimizing marketplace listings to maximize visibility and performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead workshops and cross-functional meetings
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian products
- Experience mentoring junior analysts and fostering collaboration across teams
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for internal and partner-related projects
- Work closely with stakeholders to align solutions with business goals
- Develop detailed specifications and process flows to guide technical teams
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented solutions
- Evaluate and refine pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business objectives
- Manage and optimize marketplace listings to enhance visibility and performance
- Recommend process improvements, tools, and pricing adjustments
- Collaborate with product managers, technical teams, and external partners to gather insights and align on deliverables
- Engage with leadership to present findings, propose solutions, and align on business objectives
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to optimize marketplace strategies and pricing models
- Introduce process efficiencies and ensure solutions are adaptable to evolving business needs
- Develop innovative pricing strategies and marketplace listing optimizations to drive revenue and enhance market positioning
