Business Analyst

Summary

Join Kaeppel Consulting as a dynamic Business Analyst with expertise in Backbase and/or Finzly systems. Serve as the key liaison between stakeholders and development teams to ensure successful implementation of digital banking platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services sector
• Proven experience working with Backbase. or Finzly. digital banking platforms
• Strong understanding of digital banking channels, including retail, SME, and corporate banking

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
• Lead workshops to define and refine user stories, use cases, and workflows related to Backbase or Finzly platforms
• Conduct gap analysis between business needs and platform capabilities
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Backbase/Finzly systems throughout the implementation process
• Work closely with IT and development teams to design and configure solutions that align with business objectives
• Ensure the integration of Backbase/Finzly with other banking systems and third-party services
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve the customer experience and operational efficiency
• Lead business process reengineering initiatives to streamline workflows and improve system functionality
• Develop test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate that system modifications and enhancements meet business requirements
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing of Backbase/Finzly solutions
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, user manuals, process flows, and training materials
• Develop reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with insights into system performance and usage
• Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders regarding Backbase/Finzly implementations
• Provide ongoing support and training to end-users and business partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Business Analyst (IIBA), or PMP are a plus
• Experience with FinTech: Prior experience in fintech or digital transformation projects, especially in the banking and payments space
• Technical Skills: Exposure to data analysis tools, SQL, or experience with enterprise architecture tools
