Business Analyst

Summary

Join our team as a Business Analyst with expertise in NetSuite, SuiteAnalytics, and SQL for a 6+ month contract. This remote position, ideally filled by an offshore candidate, requires gathering and analyzing business requirements, creating reporting solutions using SuiteAnalytics, and extracting data from data warehouses using SQL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business needs into technical specifications, and optimize reporting processes. The role also involves supporting user acceptance testing and ensuring solutions align with business objectives. We seek candidates with 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and proven skills in requirement gathering, data analysis, and communication.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and SuiteAnalytics (Workbooks, Saved Searches, etc.)
• Strong SQL skills with experience querying and extracting data from data warehouses
• Proven ability to gather and document business requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working remotely with global teams

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyze business and reporting requirements from stakeholders
• Build and optimize reports and dashboards using SuiteAnalytics and other NetSuite reporting tools
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting and data needs
• Pull and manipulate data from various sources, including data warehouses, using SQL
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
• Assist in the ongoing optimization and automation of reporting processes
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and data insights
• Support UAT and ensure solutions meet business objectives

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in an offshore capacity
• Familiarity with additional reporting tools or ERP systems is a plus
• Experience in finance, accounting, or operations domains is a bonus
