Join PHIL, a Series D health-tech startup, as a Business Analyst to manage client-specific operational workflows. This contract role, lasting until year's end, focuses on operational excellence, system configuration, and troubleshooting. You will be the liaison between client needs and internal systems, ensuring smooth operations. Responsibilities include managing client configurations, troubleshooting workflow issues, maintaining complex spreadsheets, resolving inconsistencies, serving as a system expert, and supporting process improvement. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 1-2 years of analytical/operational experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with business intelligence tools and SQL is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1β2 years of experience in an analytical, operational, or technical support role
- Proven ability to manage and maintain detailed workflows or configuration settings
- Highly detail-oriented with a methodical approach to solving problems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills β comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with spreadsheets and comfort navigating data-heavy processes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Responsibilities
- Managing and updating client-specific operational configurations with precision
- Troubleshooting internal workflow issues in collaboration with Operations, Product, and Engineering
- Maintaining and manipulating complex spreadsheets that influence system behavior
- Identifying and resolving inconsistencies across client workflows
- Serving as a go-to expert on how internal systems actually function for each client
- Supporting the continuous improvement of operational processes through documentation and cross-team collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker) β basic SQL a plus
