Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant in IT projects
- Proven track record in insurance-related projects (life, non-life, insurtech)
- Hands-on experience in modeling, analyzing and optimizing insurance business processes
- Experience in conducting client workshops and providing strategic IT consulting
- Ability to understand and translate business goals into IT requirements
- Excellent relationship-building skills with stakeholders, including senior management
- Strong communication skills in Polish and English, both written and verbal
- Autonomous, well-organized and proactive in driving results
- Solid understanding of the agile software development lifecycle
- Understanding of the impact of digital solutions on insurance business performance
- Experience working in distributed and cross-cultural teams
- Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required
Responsibilities
- Eliciting and analyzing the clientโs business needs in the insurance domain (life, non-life, insurtech)
- Co-creating and modeling a vision of the solution, adequate to the customerโs priorities and resources
- Supporting the full project lifecycle โ from pre-sales and RFP response, through discovery, analysis and solution design, to development and launch of custom or low-code-based applications
- Specifying functional and non-functional requirements of developed IT systems
- Conducting and facilitating workshops with clients and stakeholders
- Advising clients on best-suited IT solutions aligned with insurance business processes
- Collaborating closely with distributed development teams across geographies and cultures
- Supporting product planning, backlog management and delivery in agile setups
- Ensuring alignment between IT solutions and core insurance business processes (underwriting, claims, policy administration, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms
- Domain knowledge in claims management and underwriting
- Familiarity with European insurance market regulations and trends
