Join Context Travel's sales team as a Business Development Associate/Representative! This remote role (East Coast preferred) focuses on managing sales processes, travel advisor communications, and pipeline management. You will be responsible for tasks such as account onboarding, commission payments, webinar hosting, and content creation. Success will be measured by advisor engagement and growth. The position requires 2-4 years of sales experience, CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred), and strong communication skills. Requirements
- 2 - 4 years experience in a sales role (industry experience a plus)
- Excitement to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Quick learner with new systems and technology in support of sales process and payments
- Desire to build relationships with people and be part of a tight-knit team
- Mastery at connecting with people and quick at problem solving
- Comfortable speaking in public, on Zoom (camera) and networking/socializing solo at events
- Ability to balance being an advocate for advisors as well as for our company
- CRM experience in Hubspot or other platforms in previous role
- Positive attitude and see goals and numbers as motivation, not a threat
- Effective and experienced working in a remote environment
- Ability to plan and coordinate business travel within budget
Responsibilities
- Manage daily emails, inquiries, calls and monthly webinars
- Support & manage advisor commission payments in collaboration with Sales & Finance
- Schedule and lead meetings with advisors and partners in support of sales strategy
- Create, manage and send 1:1 sequence automations
- Proof and create content for partner websites (Virtuoso, Signature, etc) and Advisor Toolkit
- Manage account and organization of sales CRM and Ops platform
- Drive new client growth by building key account relationships and expanding on existing
- Learn and maintain understanding of travel industryβs competitive landscape
- Collaborate with client service teams to ensure seamless transition from prospect to repeat
- Create conference workflows, follow up campaigns and support leadership attended events
- Proactively seek ways to promote Context products and services
- Monitor, update, and iterate on current Hubspot workflows
- Update our travel advisor portal with inspired tour itineraries, FAQβs, etc
