Summary

Join brightwheel as an Outbound Business Development Sales Manager and lead a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in a fast-paced sales environment. You will support BDRs in managing their pipelines, monitor key performance metrics, and create a high-performing team through hiring, coaching, and development. The role requires expertise in discovery, objection handling, and cold calling, along with excellent people management and data analysis skills. Requirements

  • At least 2 years as a BDR and/or Inside Sales Representative; must include phone-based cold calling experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Excellent people management skills to coach and develop a team of BDRs
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to manage the sales process and maintain accountability for effective pipeline management across the team
  • Proficiency with CRM software and customer engagement tools

Responsibilities

  • Support BDRs to build and effectively manage their own pipelines and achieve ambitious monthly targets
  • Monitor key performance metrics to ensure the team is on-track to exceed quota and identify opportunities for coaching
  • Create a high-performing team by hiring, coaching, and developing BDRs in partnership with Sales Enablement and SalesOps
  • Contribute to improving sales processes, resources, and tools
  • Build a positive, collaborative team culture that is focused on getting better every day

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years managing a sales team of at least 6 reps
  • High-velocity sales, SaaS for SMBs, and startup experience
  • Grit, resilience, and desire to exceed sales goals
  • Positive mindset with ability to navigate change and quickly adapt
