Summary
Join Rootstock as a Partner Business Development Manager and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships within the North America or Europe region. Collaborate with regional sales leadership to build and nurture high-value relationships with Salesforce/Rootstock ecosystem partners. Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment between partners and Rootstock's sales organization. Leverage your Salesforce Account Executive experience to maximize revenue opportunities. Manage 5-7 partner relationships, track performance metrics, and contribute to regional partner enablement programs. Represent Rootstock at industry events and develop co-marketing initiatives. This remote position requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of Account Executive experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, and 3+ years of partner alliance management experience in enterprise SaaS or cloud technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience as an Account Executive within the Salesforce ecosystem
- 3+ years of partner alliance management experience in enterprise SaaS or cloud technologies
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets through partner channels
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing successful partnerships in the assigned region
- Strong understanding of the regional ERP market landscape and competitive dynamics
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, ecosystem, and partner network
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organization
- Strong business acumen with ability to develop and execute partner business plans
- Experience with partner relationship management tools and Salesforce CRM
- Regional market knowledge including business practices, competitive landscape, and industry trends
- Ability to travel up to 30% within the assigned region
- Fluency in English required; for European role, proficiency in one or more additional European languages is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with regional sales Account Executives within the assigned region (Europe), providing guidance and strategic direction
- Develop and execute regional partner alliance strategies in alignment with overall company goals and target industries
- Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with key partners in the Salesforce ecosystem within the region
- Drive regional revenue growth by fostering partner-sourced and partner-influenced deals
- Create and implement regional business plans with key partners, including quarterly and annual targets
- Personally manage 5-7 partner relationships within the region
- Collaborate with Rootstock sales and partner leadership to align partner activities with regional sales goals and account strategies
- Track and report on regional partner performance metrics, including pipeline generation, win rates, and revenue contribution
- Contribute to regional partner enablement programs in coordination with the global enablement team
- Represent Rootstock at regional Salesforce and partner events
- Develop region-specific co-marketing and co-selling initiatives with strategic partners
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities within the region to expand Rootstock's partner ecosystem
- Participate in quarterly business reviews with partners and internal stakeholders
- Monitor regional competitive landscape and provide market intelligence to inform business strategies
- Maintain partner data in Salesforce CRM and Crossbeam, prepare local teams for regional events
- Collaborate with Rootstock Marketing in develop of necessary content and planning for global and regional webinars
