Summary
Join Key Content, a leading multilingual content marketing agency, as their Business Development Director to drive growth in Europe. This role demands a proven track record in selling content services to senior marketing leaders in global organizations. You will independently identify new business and upsell opportunities, engage decision-makers through compelling presentations, and tailor proposals to client needs. Collaboration with internal teams and accurate sales forecasting are crucial. The ideal candidate possesses strong consultative selling skills, excels in exceeding quotas, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a remote role based in the European Union.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong track record in content services
- 3+ years in consultative selling within an agency or marketing services environment
- Proven ability to exceed quota and build strong client relationships
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to operate independently and cross-functionally
- Strong communication and storytelling ability; confident engaging senior stakeholders
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture
Responsibilities
- Independently identify new business and upsell opportunities to maximize revenue growth
- Engage and influence marketing decision-makers through compelling sales presentations
- Understand client needs within the broader digital ecosystem and tailor proposals accordingly
- Develop winning sales strategies in collaboration with internal teams (Strategy, Operations, and Creative)
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM reporting
- Lead renewal processes in coordination with delivery and account teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce for opportunity and pipeline management
- Outreach and ZoomInfo for prospecting
- Gong or similar conversational intelligence platforms
- PowerPoint for client-facing presentations
- Remote role with occasional in-person meetings. Applicants must be located and eligible to work within the European Union
