Summary

The job is for a Senior Sales/Business Development professional with experience in Central Government. The role involves engaging with various government departments, creating partnerships, processing opportunities, understanding business challenges, analyzing opportunities within Digital Outcomes, collaborating with practice leads, and proposing solutions that leverage the company's capabilities. The qualifications required include knowledge of Central Government structures, sales targets experience, strong understanding of Central Government procurement, CRM software experience, collaboration skills, and it would be desirable to have UCD experience.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Central Government structures and with established contacts within these departments is essential
  • Demonstrable experience of carrying and achieving high value yearly sales targets
  • Strong understanding of Central Government procurement including Digital Outcomes with the ability to leverage this knowledge strategically
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management Software and building a pipeline within this
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across internal and external organisations

Responsibilities

  • Strategically engage with Central Government departments such as BEIS, DLUHC, Home Office, DFE, DfT, DEFRA, MoJ, and HMPSS, fostering strong relationships and showcasing the capabilities of NEC Digital Studio - leading with an approach that keeps the User at the centre of everything we do
  • Identify key stakeholders and build political maps for each department, collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to determine the most effective communication strategies
  • Create trusted partnerships within the prioritised key departments, promoting our socially impactful design and build offerings
  • Processing opportunities in accordance with NEC SWS sales governance process
  • Understand the business challenges faced by government organisations and propose solutions that leverage our capabilities – allowing us to fix the problems our clients have in a way that helps everyone
  • Analyze opportunities within Digital Outcomes 6  and other procurement routes and develop comprehensive business plans for new capabilities
  • Collaborate with our Practice Leads and Heads of Practice to develop innovative pitching strategies and deliver compelling presentations that demonstrate our expertise and value proposition

Preferred Qualifications

It would be desirable for you to have experience working alongside User Centred Design Professionals
