You will initiate new sales opportunities, identify growth areas, and qualify contacts by showcasing Nearmap's product suite. Collaborate with the vertical squad (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing) to develop and implement growth strategies for existing and new clients. Responsibilities include developing GTM strategies, implementing and reporting on progress, contributing to future plans, and identifying key decision-makers. You will also prospect new business opportunities, manage a Salesforce database, and transition qualified leads to sales representatives. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years prior lead generation / business development / inside sales / account management
- Successful quota or KPI/KSO attainment with a demonstrated track record of success
- Experience hunting, prospecting, selling and closing net new business opportunities
- Previous experience making high volume outbound calls
- Sales experience in SaaS- renewals or subscription sales model, experience using Salesforce
- Sound business acumen and previous experience accurately forecasting and reporting on territory /account activity
- Ability to work independently and in a structured, disciplined sales environment
- Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
- Positive and energetic
Responsibilities
- Initiate new sales opportunities, focused on identifying growth opportunities, making first contact, generating interest and qualifying contacts by inspiring their ability to use Nearmaps product suite to extract results for their business
- Work in partnership with the other members of their vertical squad (Sales reps, Customer Success Managers, Marketing, Product Marketing etc.) to develop and implement strategies designed to extract growth from existing customers, and bring on board key new clients
- Working in partnership with Vertical Squad members to develop GTM Strategy
- Implementation of strategy and continued reporting on progress
- Contribution to future GTM plans and relaying of information gained from prospect/customer interactions
- Proficient in identifying key decision makers in prospect organizations to find additional sales opportunities
- Map key stakeholders, technical requirements and business process on all deals
- High volume prospecting of new business opportunities utilising cold calling, digital and online prospecting techniques
- Drive additional revenue opportunities by applying incremental programs or projects initiated by sales management
- Transition qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales representative
- Manage a database of contacts in Salesforce
- Efficiently process all opportunities, tracking, reporting and maintaining them until they are established in the sales pipeline
