Summary

The job is for a Business Development Specialist in the architectural millwork and steel fabrication industry focused on program work. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, 3 to 5 years of sales experience, and expertise in architectural millwork, decorative metals, and fixtures. Responsibilities include generating new business opportunities, maintaining customer satisfaction, understanding production capabilities, networking, and promoting the company's brand.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated ability to identify, prospect and sell repeatable digital fabrication projects
• Experience in architectural millwork, decorative metals and fixtures with existing relationships and contacts in the industry

Responsibilities

• Developing, coordinating, and implementing strategies to generate new opportunities and managing sales-cycle to close sales
• Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained and sales revenue and gross margins meet or exceed assigned targets
• Maintaining a hunter mentality
• Developing a strategic action plan to collaborate with internal teams and maintain a solid understanding of production capabilities
• Attending meetings, trade shows, seminars, and networking events with the goal of growing relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners for future business opportunities
• Keeping informed of industry trends and competitive positioning of Digifabshop
• Promoting Digifabshop’s brand with prospective clients, professional organizations, and industry trade partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Sales experience of 3 to 5 years is preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Major account representative experience preferred
• Great interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation capabilities
• Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
