Summary

Join Jellyvision as a Business Intelligence Analyst and leverage data to support various teams. You will create reports, visualizations, and dashboards using Looker, design and maintain data models, and work with data from multiple sources. Collaborate with stakeholders, provide ad-hoc analytics, and train users on data visualization tools. This role requires 4+ years of experience with data and relational databases, proficiency in SQL, DBT, and LookML, and strong analytical skills. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working with data and relational databases
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and quickly shift between tasks
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL, DBT, and LookML
  • Familiarity with our presentation tool: Looker
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for identifying insights and business opportunities
  • Ability to translate technical data into clear, actionable narratives for non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Deliver robust analytical insight with a β€œroot cause” focus
  • Create reports, visualizations, and dashboards in Looker for internal teams and customer reporting
  • Design and maintain robust data models (DBT and LookML) and transform raw data into analytics-ready formats
  • Work with data from multiple sources: Salesforce, Product Events, Postgres databases, and API artifacts
  • Standardize data definitions and reporting across Looker
  • Maintain data documentation and business metric definitions
  • Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and insights
  • Learn the needs of internal stakeholders and deliver ad-hoc analytics and strategic insights
  • Partner with Engineering and Product on API product data pipelines
  • Train business users on data visualization tools and self-service reporting
  • Support and respond to questions from business stakeholders in our #ask-analytics channel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational background in Information Systems, Statistics, Math, Data Science, or Computer Science
  • Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages for data manipulation and automation
