Business Intelligence Analyst

Join Authentic8 and become our new Business Intelligence Analyst! Reporting to the Director of Financial Operations, you will use data to drive strategic decisions. You will analyze KPIs, create visualizations, and collaborate with various teams (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Operations). This role demands strong analytical and communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Looker. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 4 years of experience in a BI or data analysis role
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau and Looker) and data visualization best practices
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau and Looker
• Analyze business trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational metrics to provide insights and recommendations
• Collect, clean, and structure large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, sales, and operations, to support their data needs
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through data analysis
• Assist in defining and tracking business goals by developing data-driven models and forecasts
• Support ad hoc reporting and deep-dive analyses to answer key business questions
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google BigQuery)
• Background in financial analysis, marketing analytics, or operational analytics
• Understanding predictive analytics
• Experience leveraging AI tools and prompt engineering to enhance workflows and improve efficiency
