Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
• 1-2 years of experience in a data-driven role, preferably within a business intelligence or reporting function
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing concepts
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes/tools, and BI reporting tools (e.g., QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data insights for business audiences
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to deliver high-quality work
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze detailed business requirements for new BI and reporting initiatives
• Document requirements and translate them into actionable user stories for the development team
• Design and develop data models to support analytics and reporting needs
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of BI solutions
• Test and validate BI deliverables to ensure they meet business requirements and provide meaningful insights
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather feedback, address issues, and manage ongoing support
• Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Maintain clear communication with all project team members and stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with the latest BI tools, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agile project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Scrum)
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of data engineering tools and techniques (e.g., dbt, Glue, Python)
• Experience working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Athena, Databricks, RedShift)
• Understanding of data visualization best practices
