Business Intelligence Intern

Summary

As a BI intern for Alleo, you will support teams by providing data analysis, manage and update department-specific dashboards, respond to ad hoc data requests, engage in data-driven projects, and develop skills in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence tools. The position requires a degree in related fields, basic knowledge of SQL and Python, strong analytical skills, ability to communicate complex findings clearly, and a proactive, independent worker with a team-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of SQL (and Python), with a preference for experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely
• A proactive, independent worker with a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and updating department-specific dashboards
• Develop a deep understanding of data accuracy and integrity, with guidance on identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Learn how to respond to ad hoc data requests from different departments, using tools like SQL to extract and analyze data
• Gain experience in crafting clear and actionable insights through well-structured reports
• Engage in data-driven projects with the opportunity to take ownership, under the mentorship of a manager
